Growing Tips
- Mint prefers moist, well-drained soil and partial to full sun
- Start seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost date, or direct sow outdoors after frost risk has passed
- Mint spreads readily - consider growing in containers to keep it contained in garden beds
- Keep soil consistently moist, especially during germination
- Harvest regularly by pinching stems just above a leaf node to encourage bushy growth
